All of the searching that you were able to perform here has been replicated on www.CaribbeanFamilyHistory.org. In fact there are more features available there.
Why did we move? With the location change we decided that it would be best to combine our multiple websites into one. As you know we had quite a few websites all running with different technologies which made for a management nightmare. When you are adding new sites and features there is little time to go back and consolidate. That is, until something forces you to. That 'something' just happened.
We looked at the websites and databases that we were running and realized that www.tombstones.bb was no longer an accurate portrayal of the information contained here. If all the websites were going to be brought together a new domain name was in order.
That new name is www.CaribbeanFamilyHistory.org.
Why a '.org' domain name? We strongly believe that this genealogical research should be available to all free of charge. We felt that a '.com' domain name inaccurately implies that we are a commercial business. We cannot use a country specific domain name, '.bb', as the information includes other Caribbean islands and therefore misrepresents our scope. This left us with '.org', an organization.
